What to Expect

It can be a little intimidating to visit a new place. That is why we want you know what you can expect when you come to The Refuge.

Meeting Place...
We currently meet in our home. We have a large taverna (basement) room where we gather for worship (just email or call us for directions).
What to expect during the service...
  • Children's Time — Bible story, Singing, Bible verse memorization, and "special time"
  • Prayer — corporate and for individual needs
  • Praise and Worship — a time to enter into the presence of God's
  • Preaching — life-changing Biblical preaching
Breaking bread and fellowship every Sunday...
After service we all gather upstairs for lunch. In the winter we eat inside, but when spring arrives we eat outside on the patio.
What to expect from the time you arrive until you leave...
  • The unconditional love of God from the "Refuge Family"
  • Transparent and caring fellowship throughout the day
  • Acceptance into a family of believers whether you are single or married, young or not so young
  • Help for your life, for your family, for your marriage, and for your children
